In our community, too many homeless children and women are left searching for shelter when government programs are already full or cannot accommodate everyone who needs help. M Thompson Realty LLC is working to complete a building that will become a shelter for homeless children and women. The remaining cost is $479,000, and our goal is to finish the work before winter arrives. This is more than a construction project. It is an opportunity to create a dependable refuge where children can rest safely, women can find dignity and support, and families can connect with resources that help them move forward.

Winter makes homelessness especially dangerous. Cold nights can threaten health, interrupt a child’s education, and deepen the fear and exhaustion already carried by women facing hardship.
